SHU Law hosts the Master of the Rolls

SHU Law was very privileged to host a visit from the Master of the Rolls yesterday.

The Right Honourable Sir Geoffrey Vos asked to visit SHU Law to learn about the work that we do. Accompanied by HHJ Graham Robinson, Bruce Holder QC, HHJ Siobhan Kelly and the Vice Chancellor Professor Sir Chris Husbands, he spent time speaking to our students who have been working on criminal appeals cases, small claims cases, Law in Practice, employment tribunal cases, Support Through Court and mediation.

He toured the premises to learn of our Pro Bono access to justice approach led by SHU Law Connect students who are engaged in the development of the business and also spent time at the Helena Kennedy Centre for International Justice and the Refugee Rights Hub.

We feel very privileged that the Right Honourable Master of the Rolls took time to visit and engage with SHU Law recognising what a unique entity we are.
