• Preparing a draft financial order incorporating an agreement that you and your spouse have reached regarding the division of the matrimonial assets.
• Disputes involving children including residence and contact disputes.
• Local Authority (Social Services) involvement.
• Domestic violence

Good news

Our advice and representation is free of charge.

However, you may have to pay court fees and for third party services. We will discuss these potential costs with you at the first meeting. You do not have to commit to use our services until you know what costs might be involved.

Types of cases we do not take on

We are a teaching law firm and as such we need to carefully manage the types of work that we can help with. This is to ensure that we can dedicate the appropriate time and resources to those cases that we do accept.

We are not able to take on the following types of cases:

• Advising how a court may divide the matrimonial assets following divorce
• Property/financial dispute between a couple who are not married.
• Advice concerning Occupation Orders.
• Child Maintenance
